You have the option to take the GMAT™ exam online or at a test center – or both – the choice is yours! Appointments are available around the clock and testing dates are available 6-months out on a rolling basis.
So, there is absolutely no difference when it comes to GMAT online and in-center scoring. The section scores and total scores, along with percentiles and score scales remain the same for both the exams.
The cost to take the GMAT is $250 and includes sending score reports to up to five programs of your choice. It’s important that you choose the right time to take the GMAT—and the right test prep—for you, so you don’t have to pay the fee more than once
Only Two Times
Candidates can take the GMAT™ online exam up to two times. All GMAT™ online exam attempts will count towards your 5 GMAT™ Exam attempts during a rolling 12-month period and 8 lifetime limits. Online and test center appointments will be combined to determine your eligibility for future appointments.

Can I prepare for GMAT in 3 months?
For your GMAT preparation schedule 3 months is enough time to study intensively without having to cram, to hone in on your weaknesses, and to, in most cases, reach the level of improvement in your GMAT score that you’re hoping for.
